Melissa Callahan
Traffic and Production Manager
(2008 – present)

Melissa joins the Davis team as the Production and Traffic Manger, supervising the daily functions of reserving, monitoring and shipping over one hundred print ads to more than thirty newspapers throughout New England and beyond.

Prior to Davis, Melissa worked as a marketing operations manager for JPMorgan Chase. She was also part-owner and operator of her family’s general store in Hubbardston as well as started and owned a pet-sitting business.

Melissa attended Stonehill College in North Easton MA where she majored in communications and minored in journalism. While there, she was a DJ for the college radio station, WSHL, and wrote for the school’s paper, The Summit.

Melissa lives in Worcester with her husband and two cats, Daisy and Belle. She enjoys rock music and going to shows, the Twilight book series, traveling, animals and – as she puts it – “anything to do with fashion and design.”

Laurie Shaughnessy
Traffic Coordinator (2008 – present)

Laurie keeps things moving at Davis as the Traffic Coordinator. Her responsibilities include ensuring all deadlines are met from booking to shipping for all online, radio, TV and print ads for every client. She works closely with both the art department and the account team to maintain a smooth, efficient work flow of the entire ad process and is consistently communicating with publications and media representatives. Aside from her daily traffic duties, Laurie keeps Davis laughing with her bizarre stories and silly antics. She rules as the Halloween Costume Contest award winner (two years in a row!), and is always on the prowl for a great new get up.

Laurie attended Colby-Sawyer College in the picturesque town of New London, NH where she received her BA in Communications, with a minor in Psychology. She spent most of her time in the college radio station, taking on many roles from DJ to Assistant Station Manager. She filled the rest of her spare time by writing for the school paper, playing rugby, singing with the choir, dancing for the dance team, and hanging out with friends.

Laurie currently lives in Danielson, CT with her wonderful boyfriend, Kyle, and their adorable kitty, Luna. She enjoys exploring the local parks, listening to music, reading, scrapbooking, spending time with loved ones, and anything that will keep her distracted for more than five minutes.
